Its mineral resources are coal, quartzite, marble, copper, lead and zinc etc.
    Harbin is one of Chinas key industrial bases, with machine building industry as its main stay. Foodstuff, petroleum, chemicals and textiles are its important prop-ups. The output value of its pharmaceutical industry ranks first in China. The main agricultural products are
wheat, soybean, beet, flax, tobacco, poultry, etc. Its among Chinas major beet growing areas.

The summer here is short and cool but the winter here is long and very cold. Every year, there is an ice and snow festival. People from all over China and foreign guests from other parts of the world come here to celebrate the festival. The sun island is the most attractive place of interest. We often go there to relax ourselves. The city is historical and modern. It has many building of Russian style and many modern buildings too. I think the city will be better in the future.
    My hometown is Harbin. As we all known, Harbin has had "Oriental small Paris", "Oriental Moscow" reputation. the city building a brew, style distinctive. Humanity has a long history, not only constellation northern minorities history and culture but also beauty senery.

    Its cold and snowy in Harbin.Its colder than Haikou.You can go skating,go to Harbin Ice and Snow World in Harbin.But in Haikou,you can only play beach volleyball,swim,go to the Tropical Ocean World of Haikou.Its more boring.And in Harbin,you can eat Harbin Beer,Butcher food,Russian bread and so on.Its more delicious than Haikous sea food.
    All in all,Harbin is a great city to go travelling.
