Mid-term Presentation (期中演讲)
As the mid-term examination testing your listening and oral English, you are asked to make a 2-minute presentation in the class.  The grade takes up 10% of your final score.  The presentation topic is designated as below:

Direction:  listen to Part one (mp3) of Listening Task of Unit 15 (page 283), and write a presentation script about 150 to 200 words based on the information you learn from the passage. You are asked to make a presentation using the script to tell the audience “How to make your online shopping safe”.  You must use an effective presentation structure (p.112) including an opening, a preview, demarcated main point, and a closing.  Please rehearse the presentation before the examination.  Your presentation will be assessed on the basis of content & structure, techniques, languages, and delivery (p. 119).  Remember, you are only allowed 1 to 2 minutes for the presentation, and your presentation will be mandated to stop by the teacher if you are not able to finish it in time.
