教学过程
环节1 新课导入
Game:The teacher asks students to work in groups pretends to be the peacemaker and the other two pretend to be two friends who have a dispute,and come to the front and show their performance to the class.
设计意图:以游戏的形式开始新课,吸引学生的注意力,同时增加学生的课堂参与感。
环节2 新课学习
1.让学生小组讨论并回答“Think about it”中的两个问题,然后邀请学生分享自己的经历。
2.教师展示Lesson 37的图片给学生看,并询问:Do you remember what happened to Danny and Steven? 然后邀请一名学生讲述第37课丹尼和史蒂文之间发生的事情。
3.让学生听教材106的对话,并回答活动1中的问题。
4.让学生阅读该对话,并出詹妮给丹尼和史蒂文提的建议:I'm glad you can agree on something.Now, do you two want to keep silent forever? Do you really want to stop being friends? It's just a game.
5.让学生想想自己可以给丹尼和史蒂文提些什么建议。如:Friends are more important than a game.
6.让学生仔细阅读该对话,将对话内容理解透彻,并标记出不理解的词语或句子。学生提出不懂的地方,老师进行解答。
7.教师再次播放录音,学生大声跟读,练习语音语调。
8.教师邀请一名学生朗读并解释教材107页活动2框中的短语,然后让学生根据课文内容补全活动2的文段。教师核对答案。
9.让学生三人一组合作,根据活动3的要求,讨论自己小组可以给出什么建议,并做好笔记。教师邀请两组学生分享自己的建议,全班一起评价建议是否合理。
10.表演活动:三人一组合作(和事佬和两个争论的人),从下列场景中选择一个话题表演一个短剧。

either adj.(两者中)任何一方的; n.(两者中)任何一个。either作主语时,谓语动词一般用单数形式。
【辨析】either、neither与both
neither两者中任何一个都不。either(两者中)任何一个。both两者都,肯定两者。either和neither作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式;both作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。
(2)I'm glad you can agree on something.
agree on sth.主要指双方通过协商而取得一致意见或达成协议,其后接名词、代词或动名词,相当于agree to do sth.。
【拓展】agree with sb.表示同意某人或某人的意见、想法、分析、解释等 (即持同一观点);或表示(食物、天气、工作等)对某人适宜。 agree to 主要用来表示一方提出一项建议、安排、计划等,另一方同意协作;后接 suggestion、plan、proposal等名词时,与 accept同义;其后既可接动词原形 (此时to是不定式符号),也可接动名词 (一般有逻辑主语,此时 to是介词)。
