Steve’s Pizza
So many pizza stores in South Beach， but ask a Miami Beach local where to get the best pizza and they’ll tell you about Steve’s. This is New York–style pizza， handmade with care and good ingredients (佐料). New stores of Steve’s are opening elsewhere in Miami， all in non-tourist areas.
Opening hours: 11am-3am Cattleman’s Steakhouse.
This place is 20 miles east of the city， but local people would probably drive 200 miles to eat here. The food is good， and the scenery is even better. Come early and wander around
the grounds of Indian Cliffs Ranch， where you’ll see everything from rabbits to buffalo， then catch the sunset either before or after your meal.
Opening hours: 5pm-10pm.
Absolute Baking Café.
The screen door is always swinging open at this town hot spot with giant breakfasts. Try the green chili on eggs – it’s made from scratch， as are the organic breads. And lunch includes salads， big sandwiches and local grass-fed beef burgers. Don’t miss a square of soft， fresh carrot cake.
Opening hours: 7am-2pm Walt’s Wharf.
Everybody’s favorite for fresh fish (some drive in from LA)， Walt’s packs them in on weekends. You can’t order your dinner (though they’re accepted for lunch)， but it’s worth the wait for the seafood and steaks in the many-windowed ground floor or upstairs in captain’s chairs.

You probably know many of the things that you can do with the hundreds of different muscles(肌肉) in your body. But have you ever thought about how the muscles in an animal’s body are different from yours? An animal’s muscles are made to do the things that are the most important for its life.
Lions are hunters. They depend on their ability to catch other animals. Lions must be fast in order to catch their prey(猎物). The powerful muscles in their back legs allow them to run at speeds of more than 30 miles per hour. They can also jump a distance of more than 35 feet. The strong muscles in their front legs help them catch their prey.
Snakes also use their muscles for hunting prey and for movement， but their muscles work in very different ways than lion’s do. Because snakes do not have any legs， they use their muscles to push against the ground or other objects to move themselves forward. Their mu
scles also allow them to eat things that seem much too large. For example， a snake may eat an egg that is larger than the width of its body. How does this happen? The snake’s strong neck muscles work together to push the egg down the mouth.

The great muscles of these animals seem pretty unbelievable. But the muscles in your body work exactly the way you need them to. After all， it might be fun to be able to jump a distance of 30 feet， but as a human being， there is just not much need for it.
