二、 教学课题
教养方面：
1、 能够正确使用本单元单词和词组。
2、 理解对话内容，能就濒危动物展开对话。
3、 能正确回答对话后所跟问题。
4、 能与同学流利地展开与濒危动物有关的对话。
教育方面：
1、 使学生学会将谈论的话题继续下去，进行较深入的讨论。
2、 激发学生热爱动物、热爱大自然、勇于探索大自然奥秘的热情。
发展方面：
培养学生的想象能力、思维能力、语言表达能力。
三、 教材分析
本节课是《新标准英语》初二上册第9模块Animals in danger 中的第一单元We need to protect animals 。话题是濒危动物，向学生介绍一濒危动物的现状。这是一个既有意义，又能引起学生兴趣的话题，是对学生进行环保教育的良好素材。语法内容是动词不定式的用法。要求学生听懂、读懂相关的对话和描述，准确理解并运用动词不定式的否定形式。
由谈论学生喜爱的动物导入课题，通过多媒体课件展示，比较直观，能调动学生学习积极性，引发兴趣，提高学生参与度。增强学生的表达欲望。通过听、说、读、写的训练，让学生学会谈论动物及动物保护的表达方式。
四、 教学方法
  热爱与保护动物，特别是濒危动物，是当前一个较热的话题，也是环境保护要求我们必须做到的。这一话题与学生的生活实际联系密切，能引起学生的兴趣。大熊猫是我国的国宝，好多学生都喜欢它那憨态可掬的样子，因此是进行环保教育的良好素材。
由学生感兴趣的国宝大熊猫的话题导入新课，引出很多动物都濒临灭绝，我们需要保护与拯救这些濒危动物，由谈论濒危动物引出动词不定式的用法。

预习词汇：布置学生预习本单元词汇，能够根据音标读出并了解汉语意思即可。
课前朗读：朗读本单元生词和短语。

[课内探究]
（一）新课导入
1. 检查词汇预习
（1）单词拼写：展示汉语意思，学生拼写单词。不再为你流泪
（2）朗读上述词汇，为新课学习打下基础。
2. 猜谜游戏，熟悉动物名称及特点。
3. 展示新句型
（1）由动物图片导入濒危动物的话题。

（2）由讨论动物濒危的原因展示新句型。
People kill the whales to get their meat.

六、 教学反思
本节课通过多媒体演示，直观地向学生展现了濒危动物所遇到的情况，引起了学生的广泛关注，并引起了学生的共鸣。增强了学生的社会责任感和参与意识，积极投入到环境保护中去，起到了良好的作用。
动词不定式的运用是本节课的重点和难点，学生以前接触的不多，因此在实际运用中出错较多，是下一步学习中应该注意的重点。
