一、Teaching aims：
父亲的草原母亲的河德德玛1.能听懂, 会说, 会读单词：Christmas tree, pretty, first, next, then, finally。张宏民的老婆是谁
2.了解西方送礼物的习俗, 为不同类型的人选择合适的礼物, 培养学生良好的文明礼仪。
二、Teaching key points：
1.能听懂, 会说, 会读常用的动词短语,  如：put on, put under, wake up等。
2.能在一定的情境下正确使用副词first, next, then, finally。
三、Teaching difficulties:
1.新学单词中Christmas tree, pretty, first, next, then, finally单词的正确发音, 这几个单词的发音相对长一些, 教师要进行适当地指导。
2. 正确使用副词first, next, then, finally。
4、教学方法：
情景教学法, 任务型语言教学法, 直接法, 合作学习法
五、教学准备：
教师准备：通过互联网查询与本课相关的资料, 进行备课, 并制作符合本课的多                    媒体课件。
学生准备：学生准备与本课相关的物品。
六、教学过程：
Step 1. Warming up：

1.师生热情地与学生问候:Hello, boys and girls. How are you today?
Let’s sing a song.
We wish you a Merry Christmas.
设计目的：为了使学生建立良好的英语学习兴趣, 让学生唱圣诞歌曲, 呈现的是一个Flash 动画视频, 来给学生营造一个轻松愉悦的氛围, 这首歌也与本课的主题Christmas相契合, 为本课的学习进行了铺垫。
2. Free talk：
T: What day is it today?
Ss: It’s …
T: What date is it today?
Ss: It’s the…
T: What festival is on the 25th of December?
Ss: It’s Christmas Day.
T: Yes. Christmas is coming soon.心型圈
The Santa Claus is preparing presents. (出示礼物盒子)

Step 2. Presentation and practice
1、教师出示present, Christmas tree, stocking, turkey, Father Christmas图片, 在导入新课的同时教授单词 present, Christmas。
2、观看一段关于圣诞节的英文视频, 让学生了解更多关于圣诞节的知识。

3、教师教授单词first, next, then, finally, 并讲解时间副词的用法。
4、教师带领学生阅读Page 78-79 的内容, 让学生学习本课的核心知识。
Step 3. Drill
1、让学生自由朗读内容三分钟。
2、让学生两两一组, 分组练习。
3、随意抽出两组进行对话表演, 全班打分。
Step 4. Consolidation
出示本课知识点, 讲解一遍。
着重强调副词first, next, then, finally的用法。
Step 5. Ask and answer.

设计目的：本部分主要是Read and write部分句型的操练。让学生来汇报对话时, 根据图画逐次呈现正确的完整句型, 让所有的学生都能够一目了然, 从而提高了教学效率, 解决了板书的局限性。
Homework:
1.抄写所学的四会单词。
2.用所学句型造句, 写在作业本上。
3.搜集有关圣诞节的知识。
