《飞鹰埃迪》是由二十世纪福斯公司出品，德克斯特·弗莱彻导演，休·杰克曼、塔伦·埃格顿主演的体育励志电影。
这部电影讲述英国跳台滑雪名将“飞鹰”艾迪·爱德华兹的生平事迹，被誉为英国版《阿甘正传》，
故事有笑有泪，小人物追求大梦想以及坚持不懈、努力拼搏的奥运精神极具感染力，是继《阿甘正传》之后又一部撼动人心的补心之作。
影片于2016年2月26日北美上映，2016年4月1日英国上映。

埃迪原本是高山滑雪选手，但这个项目竞争激烈，为了实现奥运梦他改练跳台滑雪，远渡重洋来到了纽约州开始用借来的装备练习跳台滑雪，1987年他代表英国参加世界锦标赛，排名第55位，因此获得了一张奥运入场券。当时他体重181磅，是那届冬奥会上该项目体重最重的选手，比第二名重了整整20磅。而且他还是远视眼，必须一直戴眼镜，外面再罩护目镜，比赛的时候，眼镜上的雾气经常让他几乎看不见东西。
可以想见，埃迪同学的比赛成绩好不了，在70米和90米的项目上，他的成绩都排在最后一名。评论员善意的嘲笑他是“滑雪摔倒”选手。但是他表现越差，观众就越爱他，还得到飞鹰的外号。
这一届冬奥会之后两年，国际奥委会就通过了一项被“飞鹰规则”，规定只有在世界排名前50
或者top 30%之内的运动员才有资格获得奥运会入场券。因为这条新规定，埃迪在1992年，1994年和1998年冬奥会都落选了，但他还是相当执着。
后来埃迪就退役了，靠广告和脱口秀为主要收入来源，据说还当了一阵子流行歌手。中间还破产过几年，为了打官司还读了个法律学位。2008年还当着泥水匠。2009年爱美的埃迪做了缩下巴的整容手术。2010年的温哥华冬奥会，他还出来跑了火炬接力。
