Learn from Failure
The saying “failure is the mother of success” reminds me of one of my experiences about failure.
Last term, I took part in an English competition. I thought I would win the competition. But, in fact, I did really badly in the competition. I felt so upset. My parents were worried about me and told me accept the truth and cheer up. Encouraged by my parents, I realized that I should be brave enough to face this failure. Instead of giving up, I should learn from failures and keep going on.
Thanks to the valuable experience of failing, I understand the real meaning of saying.

She told me that she was nervous because she would have an English test. I decided to help her with English. That evening, I helped her review the key points and notes. Two days later, she told me that she passed it. I felt so happy.
From this little thing, I learn that helping others is the beauty of life.

Last month, I wanted to join the school football team. But I was refused by the leader. I was sad and wanted to give up.But thinking about the words “never give up”. I knew I must practice hard to improve my football skills. I practiced playing football after school every day. Three weeks later, there was a football game at our school. I won the MVP and was accepted by the football team.
All in all, I was really happy that all my hard work paid off. And I learn that I should keep doing what I like and never give up no matter how many difficulties I meet.
To Learn，To Grow
Every experience is a learning experience, and we always learn something Valuable from it.
Last term, there was an English speech contest in my school. I decided to take part in it,
because I thought I was good at speaking English and I had some experience in giving speeches. I was sure I could win the contest easily, so I spent little time practicing. Did I win? Of course not. The winner was Jim, one of my classmates, who had practiced after school every day.
“Practice makes perfect”, as saying goes. No one can succeed without hard work. This is what I learned from my failure. If there is another chance, I will take it seriously and try my best.
