1.道歉及其应答的基本表达法;
2. 过去时的用法;现在完成时的用法;
3.重要词汇:excuse, apologies, pardon, interrupt, carelessness, forget, editor, interesting, pleasant,etc.
4.excuse sb. For + n./v-ing. 英文中forgive的意思与用法
动词let的常用表达let+ sb./sth.+v.

Step One Leading-in
  1Greetings(先老师跟全班学生打招呼,然后老师跟单个学生打招呼,既复习了前面学过的知识,也锻炼了学生)
2Warming up
    Read the words of Unit5 ,T read once, Ss follow and then read twice.Finally all students and teacher read all words.(游戏:学生掌握了单词后,老师读单词但不发出声音,让学生猜出老师说的单词,猜到了就加分)
Step Two Presentations
  1. Learning phrases and sentences. There are some new phrases in essential expressions. Lets learn them.表示感谢与道歉的句子:
a.Sorry./I’m sorry.   
b.Excuse me, please..
c.I apologize.
d.I beg your pardon.
e.I’m sorry for being late.
f.I must apologize to you for what I have said.
g.Please excuse me for my carelessness.
H.I’m sorry that this has happened.
I.I’m sorry to lose your book.
(先讲解红字体单词并带读,然后讲解并带读句子,让学生依次看着PPT读句子看每个学生是否掌握了,最后让学生给每个句子选出相应的汉语意思。)
2. Lets know about the answers of apologize.道歉的的基本应答:
    a. That’s OK.

c. Never mind.
d. It doesn’t matter.

f. Forget it.(先带读句子,组与组之间分开读,看那一组最棒)
3.Communicative tasks
    1)将学生分成若干组,布置或者学生选择不同的交际任务。
    2)解释任务内容,确保学生完全明白交际任务的内容。
    3)指导学生使用本单元的基本表达法,将有关交际任务编成对话或短剧,进行两两联系。
    4牵牛花开的日子插曲)选2-3组进行对话或者表演,并对学生的表现进行评价总结。
(为熟练掌握基本表达法,表演完后设计一个模仿游戏:一位学生扮演老师主持班会,另一位老师迟到了,向老师道歉并说明迟到的原因)

  1)课文导入:讨论“假如你向杂志社或者报社投稿后毫无音信将怎么办?”“怎样才能知道编辑是否看过你的稿件?”。学生各抒己见,教师进行总结。
  2)板书与课文相关的问题学生带着问题看阅读。

  3)边讲解课文边翻译,重要的单词边带读。
1.  I do apologize.  我确实道歉。
  在行为动词前加上动词“do”,其作用是强调该行为动词。助动词do有人称、时态和数的变化。例如:玛丽的确喜欢音乐。 Mary does like music.
上周我们确实参观了那家工厂。 We did visit the factory last week.
2. We're sorry for ...  是道歉的常见表达方式,类似的表达还有:I'm , I'm ,I'm , 例如:
对不起,我上课迟到了。用(I'm I'm sorry to be late for class.用(I'm I'm sorry that I was late for class.
很抱歉,这些日子我很忙。(用I'm sorryI'm sorry,but I am busy these days.
  4)带读课文,并让学生集体朗读课文。

      he always carried an umbrella.
  常与一般过去时态连用的时间有:
